Launch content for Quibi with Idris Elba and Ken Block
Utilising our disused concrete playgrounds in East London’s Silvertown we helped Quibi produce their triple-A content for the launch of their revolutionary take on how we all consume our visual media.
We put in place the working agreements for the production to create Mad Max-esc stunt driving scenes at our location. With Idris Elba taking the reigns to represent the whole of the UK against the USA’s Ken Block (one of the worlds greatest ever rally drivers) they went head to head in a series of challenges to determine which nation has the better drivers.
A spectacular series of stunts ensued, with ramp jumps, walls of fire and heavy hitting vehicle collisions amongst many of the various stunt sequences.
Naturally, large, controlled fire in the immediate vicinity of City Airport isn’t an every day occurrence, but it’s thanks to our well established network that we’re able to implement our stakeholder engagement practices, ensuring all types of production run without a hitch.
