We all love watching a good movie and even better is a good FREE movie, so being the lovely people that we are, Film Office has put together some shoestring suggestions on where you can get that film fix in our glorious borough of Tower Hamlets.

Rich Mix Film for a fiver anyone?

Monday Blues getting you down? Tuesday Bluesday getting on top of you?, here's something to cheer you up at the start of the working week.

The very awesome Rich Mix cinema is working in conjunction with Tower Hamlets libraries and Idea Store so that members can now watch movies for £5.00 on Mondays and Tuesdays. Film Tickets can be booked online, over the phone or in person at Rich Mix. Visit the Rich Mix website for more information. Flash your library or members badge when collecting tickets...and enjoy!!

For something more alternative try Artists' Film International at the Whitechapel Gallery ( April 23rd- 23rd June). Selected by India, Norway and the USA, this seasons films explore the themes of migration, displacement and journey.

Zeide Isaac (2009) features the artist's grandfatherperforming a script written by the artist but based on his grandfather's personal story as a Holocaust survivor.

STANZE (2010)   is based on theaccounts of young political refugees fromSomalia.

In Gipsy Style (2009) uses a low-tech video camerato record an 80 day 'vacation' during which the artist swims his way through publicfountains in major European cities.

And lastly, watch a fab film every last Sunday of the month at The Docklands Cinema Club. Enjoy drinks and popcorn in the impressive surroundings of The Museum Of London, Docklands, a Grade I listed Georgian warehouse,
